Adult, Child and Family Portraits

My photography services include a briefing before the shoot to make the process more relaxed. It lets us prep everyone, and gives me a chance to meet younger children so they are more comfortable on the shoot.

You may prefer shooting in your own home, or using a simple backdrop. You might like soft lighting or a more dramatic feel. Each choice has a different outcome, and requires a different approach. The sorts of memories you’d like, and the types of images you want to create, can be discussed.

Postproduction is a critical part of the process. We remove blemishes and other imperfections and distractions. Converting to black and white requires an adjustment of colours, tones, contrast, highlights, and vignetting across the entire image. All parts of the image are refined and crafted.

Digital printing is on Epson and HP printers exclusively, with up to 10-ink colours - even for black & white images - to produce the best possible printed results. Prints are museum quality and guaranteed not to fade for 100 years. All papers are acid free too, so your photographs will last for generations.
